Welcome to our exciting new cooking program, Cook Cook Cook an engaging hands-on experience where you get to explore and perfect a variety of dishes and techniques. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced home cook, our program offers something for everyone, from cake decorating to high tea! Here’s what you can expect each week below are the food we will create.

Cupcake & Cake Decorating

This week, we dive into the art of cake decorating. We’ll begin by either baking cupcakes or a full cake together, then move on to decorating them using royal icing, fondant, and creative techniques. Whether you decide to bake your cakes or just focus on the decoration, you’ll leave with a beautiful creation to impress family and friends!

Curry Curry Curry – Veg Options Included!

Spice up your week with a delicious exploration of curry! We’ll explore different curry bases, starting with a flavorful green curry served with aromatic rice. We’ll also make sure there’s a vegetable option for all our vegetarian participants, so no one misses out on the vibrant, comforting flavors of curry

Popcorn – 11 Cool Ways to Make It

Popcorn isn't just for the movies! In this week’s class, we’ll take you beyond the classic buttered popcorn. With the help of our popcorn machine and an array of fun ingredients, we’ll show you 6-9 creative ways to enjoy this snack, with 11 unique flavor combinations that will make you look at popcorn in a whole new light. From sweet to savory, we’ve got you covered.

Mini Hamburgers, Fried Chicken, and Fries

It’s comfort food time! This week, we’ll be mastering the art of mini hamburgers, crispy fried chicken, and perfectly seasoned fries. You'll learn how to create these crowd-pleasers from scratch, including tips for perfecting your fried chicken batter and making juicy, flavorful burgers.

Biscuits & Slices

Let’s bake something sweet and satisfying! In week 5, we’ll focus on baking delicious biscuits and slices. From classic shortbread to rich, indulgent slices, you’ll learn the essential techniques for making these baked goods a hit. By the end of the class, you’ll have the perfect treats for a cozy afternoon snack or to share with loved ones.

High Tea

End the program in style with a traditional high tea experience! Learn how to make and serve delicate finger sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, and a variety of sweet treats. We’ll guide you through the steps of setting up your own high tea at home, whether for a special occasion or just a lovely afternoon treats.

Age: 13 to 25 years

Cost: Free for young People who live, work, play a sport, attend a school, connected to Gawler.
