Cooking chinese food with induction
Event description
Many cultures love to cook with gas and believe strongly that it is the only way to cook certain foods. Join Willoughby City Council and Asian Australians for Climate Solutions for an engaging session on "Cooking Chinese Food with Induction". Learn from practising medical professionals on the health and safety benefits of cooking without gas whilst sampling delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine. This hands-on workshop will tackle common concerns such as achieving ‘wok hei’ and converting your kitchen to induction.
Enjoy a cooking demonstration, practical tips, and a Q&A session, followed by a tasty meal. Mandarin interpretation will be provided.
Take the step towards healthier, safer, and more sustainable cooking.
NOTE: Due to limited capacity, tickets are prioritised for Willoughby Council residents. If you aren’t a resident and are keen to attend, please email env.educators@willoughby.nsw.gov.au with your name, email and number and we'll add you to the waitlist.
