About the Workshop

In this hands-on class, you’ll step into the kitchen with Margaret to learn how to prepare simple, wholesome meals with heart. More than just cooking, this workshop is about creating a space where stories are shared, cultures are celebrated, and everyone is welcome regardless of experience. If you are a bloke who wouldn't mind learning some more recipes, meeting other people and having an opportunity to make some good food, these workshops have been designed with you in mind, although all are welcome. 

Whether you’ve cooked before or it’s your first time stirring a pot, this is a relaxed, no-pressure environment where the focus is on connection and community.

What to Expect?

This event brings together residents and members of the wider community to connect through the universal language of food. As you chop, cook, and laugh together, you’ll not only learn a new recipe you’ll be part of something meaningful.

Expect generous servings of joy, conversation, and of course, a delicious, shared meal at the end.
