Interested in protecting your precious veggie patch during extreme heat days?

Join us as we create new permanent shade structures in the community garden over the raised garden plots. Gain tips and insights for your own garden spaces as we showcase several different designs for different beds and conditions.

This is a hands on working bee outdoors so please wear sturdy footwear and a hat.  BYO water bottle.

Nature based craft activities for children included. 

This event follows the Cool it workshop at 11.30am (individual tickets required) with light refreshments from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
