Join us for the Cooler, Greener, Wilder Youth 'Marine and Coastal Environments' excursion!
Dive in and discover northern Adelaide’s unique marine and coastal environments through immersive hands-on learning experiences along the Samphire Coast. This remarkable coastal landscape offers experiences and learning opportunities that can't be found in metropolitan Adelaide. Home to thriving mangrove forests, vast intertidal seagrass meadows, vibrant samphire wetlands, expansive mudflats and an incredible diversity of locally and internationally significant birdlife, the Samphire Coast provides a unique window into the rich ecosystems that support our marine and coastal environments. Participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in a dynamic and ever-changing environment through a range of hands-on activities that will help bring coastal ecology to life.

Why Cooler, Greener, Wilder Youth?
Cooler, Greener, Wilder Youth is a dynamic program designed to inspire and empower students in Years 5-8 to actively engage with and care for local environments. It offers a unique opportunity for student representatives from across northern Adelaide to come together to cultivate curiosity, develop leadership and agency, and spark a lifelong passion for the environment and sustainability.

Registration is essential
Further information will be emailed to you upon registration. To confirm your school's participation, please register students in Years 5-8 (a total of 4-8 students per school) along with any supporting staff.

It’s set to be a hands-on, inspiring experience - so come ready to explore, get involved, and make a difference!
