A BioBlitz...is an intense period of biological surveying in an attempt to record all the living species within a designated area. Groups of scientists, naturalists and volunteers conduct an intensive field study over a continuous time period.

Cooloola Mini-BioBlitz for Arachnids 2023 will be based in the beautiful coastal village of Rainbow Beach in Queensland. Field trips venture into the Great Sandy National Park, Cooloola Recreation Area and Inskip Point Recreation Area.

The Cooloola Coast is a region with stunning natural beauty and high environmental values. It is recognised as a natural environment of international significance:

Great Sandy Marine Park
