Event description

Join glass artist Alice Boardman for a two-part stained-glass workshop.

Over the weekend, immerse yourself in the craft of stained glass art with artist and facilitator Alice Boardman. You’ll learn the traditional techniques of glass cutting, breaking, shaping, and soldering as you create your own stunning leadlight mirror.

Saturday the 8th Feb 10-1:30pm Sunday the 9th Feb 10-1:30pm  

(participants must be available for both days)




This is a practical and informative workshop and no prior experience is needed. Take some time to be creative in a relaxed environment with plenty of individual care and assistance. You will be shown how to make and fix appropriate wire hooks and finally the best method for cleaning your piece ready for display.

Participants will choose their own unique colours and use one of the many provided designs.

At the end of the workshop you will have a unique piece to take home with you.

What to Bring?

Everything is provided for you!

The workshop cost includes all materials required and all tools and safety equipment will be provided.

We will provide tea and biscuits and will break to enjoy a cuppa tea.

(make sure you can be available for both nights)

Who Can Join:

This workshop is perfect for beginners and is open to ages 15 and up. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm to delve into a new craft 

What to wear

Covered shoes are required in the space. Please ensure long hair can be tied back.
