The competition is open to all singers from Australia and New Zealand aged 20-32. Since inception, the competition has enabled dozens of singers to enter the operatic profession through its generous scholarship programme which, to date, has awarded over $1million in scholarships. Seven Bel Canto Singers will each perform two arias competing for a $40,000 first prize.

Accompanied by: Kate Johnson

Judges: Cyrus Meher-Homji OAM, Bernadette Cullen, Glenn Winslade, Fiona Janes, Emma Matthews AM.
