2024 Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award Final

Enjoy a stunning afternoon of opera arias performed by some of our most exciting young singers. All competing for prizes in excess of $70,000.

The JSRB Bel Canto Award is one of Australia's most prestigious singing competitions for classical voice, having been established in 2011. The competition is open to all singers from Australia and New Zealand aged 20-32. Since inception, the competition has enabled dozens of singers to enter the operatic profession through its generous scholarship programme which, to date, has awarded over $1million in scholarships. Seven Bel Canto Singers will each perform two arias competing for a $40,000 first prize.
