    Event description

    Bunny Chow

Join Minette Tonoli as she shows us how to create bunny chow, a street food originating among the Indian South Africans in Durban. Bunny chow is a half-loaf of bread filled with a delicious curry. Continuing the theme, we'll round off the evening with a Durban Bombay Crush.

Minette is an Afrikaans South African who immigrated to New Zealand with her husband and two daughters in 2013. She is a horticulturist and community herbalist who enjoys growing and using herbs in all parts of her life and especially loves inspiring others to soulfully garden for their own food and medicine. Minette likes exploring world cuisine and savours food from all over the globe, especially when recipes utilise a lot of herbs or spices but she will always have a special place for the traditional meals from her childhood.
