THE FRIENDS OF URBAN WETLANDS invite you to join us for a media event to make a splash to help save the last remaining wetland in the Perth CBD. We will link arms and sing our favourite Xmas carols, each with a specially created wetland theme!

Wear your frog suit or dress in green or blue. Grab your friends and grab some tickets so we know you’re coming!

Here’s just one of many hundreds of comments left on our Save the Wetlands Change.org campaign.

"""This little speck of wetland right in the heart of our cultural centre provides a great spot to sit and listen to frogs right in the middle of the city. Have a class of school kids observe dragon flies whilst eating lunches after a visit to the art gallery or museum. Caring for this space can provide employment. What a joy if we need to employ more horticulturalists and water experts to care for habitat in our city centre. Keep it!"""

* Yes, we used AI for the image because time is of the essence - the redevelopment is due to start next month!!!!
