A Night of Courageous Conversations presents, 'A Slinky Saunter in Three Parts'

To be honest, this is my ideal way to spend a Saturday afternoon, I've crafted an experience rich in epicurian delights for the delightfully curious.

I'ts an opportunity to wine down. To wander. It's a slinky saunter. We'll walk, wander and wonder - we won't walk far but feel free wonder afar.

It's a moveable feast for the senses. A progressive pintxos experience for the Flâneurs and Flâneuses amongst us.

These events are an invitation to skip the small talk and go straight to the truth – of what might feel edgy to acknowledge and to share, but what feels like liberation when you do in the company of fellow depth seekers.

As such, this is not your average event. The experience will be expertly facilitated to a point, then we'll be going off-script. That's where you come in. This is an emergent experience. You're writing the story.

We’ll start in the city, there’s a couple of spots I’d like to take you to - a hidden gem and a classic, before we end up in Carlton for one more before dinner.

We'll visit 3 wine bars for a glass at each, some food to match and a juicy conversation starter to carry us to the next venue. I'll choose the wine and perhaps a story to go with it, before inviting you to share a story of yours.

The theme? Like all great stories, this is a three part act:

Act 1 - The Set Up.

Act 2 - The Complication.

Act 3 - Resolution and Refrain.

There'll likely be an encore, too.

3 x venues. 3 x parts. 3 x topics of conversation to guide our journey.

As afternoon turns to evening and twilight lingers, so might we. We'll share dinner around a table, dim the lights and turn up the volume.

This will be a small group, 6 people. I’ll curate the wine and food and ask some questions, you bring the courage to open your mind and your heart, the rest will take care of itself.

We're interested in who you are beyond who you have become. We want to know what sets your soul alight, what stirs within you that you're afraid of acknowledging. Until you do...

Why: "A Slinky Saunter in Three Parts"

Where: We'll meet under the clocks at Flinders St.

When: Arrive at 3:00pm. We'll most likely be done by 9pm, at the earliest.

What: Wine, food, delicious things. Let me know if you have any dietary requirements.

What else: We'll walk in between venues, a total of 3km over 3 x venues over 3 x hours over flat terrain. If it's raining, bring an umbrella. If you have mobility issues just let me know and we'll ensure you're catered for.
