    Veesta Vafadari

Veesta has been practicing yoga since she first stepped into a studio at 14 years old with her big sister. She didn’t realize how valuable this practice would be to her life. She was not athletic, felt uncoordinated, and struggled to hold downward dog for five full breaths, but attended class twice a week anyway. In college, having observed friends’ struggle with the mind-body connection and general health, she realized how in tune she was with her body thanks to her yoga practice.

She completed her 200hr yoga teaching certification with Ra Yoga. This achievement changed her life forever and for the better. Prior to teaching yoga, Veesta obtained her Master’s in Social Work from CSUF and worked as a medical social worker, advocating primarily for older adults. Veesta believes in curating a yoga space of empowerment and respect for ALL individuals. She encourages movement that is intuitive and promotes a sense of strength within each individual.
