Join us at La Trobe Sport School Holiday Camps for a fun-filled mix of aquatics, sports, and awesome activities – all at our Bundoora campus! Start the day splashing into action with water games like the Tarzan rope, water polo, magic carpets and free play. Then get ready to climb to new heights in the afternoon with a rotating lineup of sports and games – including crowd-favourite rock climbing, basketball, soccer, AFL, table tennis, netball, outdoor recreation, tabloid games, and more!

Please Note:
Our La Trobe Sport Aquatic & Multi Sport Camps are full-day programs designed for children aged 7 to 12 years. These are action-packed days requiring good stamina and energy.

For safety reasons, children must be confident in the water to participate in the aquatic sessions. Please ensure your child is comfortable with both active sports and aquatic activities before enrolling.

AQUATIC & MULTI-SPORT CAMPS (AGES 7+) 🏊‍♂️

Kick off each morning with epic aquatic adventures – swing on the Tarzan rope, make a splash in water polo, race across magic carpets, and dive into loads more water fun! Then, keep the excitement going in the afternoon with a jam-packed lineup of rotating sports and activities like basketball, soccer, AFL, table tennis, netball, outdoor games, and the ultimate favourite – rock climbing!

Attendance Requirements

Children must be capable of independently changing clothes and toileting themselves.

Aquatic Session Requirements (Ages 7+)

Children must be able to swim 25 meters and tread water in deep water to participate.
Lifejackets will be provided for children who do not meet these requirements.
Please ensure your child is comfortable and confident in the water before booking.

🌳Special Collaboration with Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary🌳:

We’re excited to partner with Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary to give kids a unique opportunity to connect with nature through a fun and educational wildlife experience! Each Friday, after our morning aquatic activities and lunch, children will head outside for an exciting two-hour immersive nature experience.

Through a range of engaging, hands-on activities, they’ll explore native wildlife, habitats, sustainability, and the environment—discovering how everything is connected. This outdoor session will take place after their aquatic fun at the La Trobe Indoor Sports Centre and will be a highlight of the day.

Please note: This session is held outdoors and will proceed in most weather conditions. We kindly ask that children come prepared with wet weather gear (e.g., gumboots, raincoats) if rain is forecast.

We’re also running our Ultimate Sports Camps (Ages 5+), a non-aquatic program packed with rotating sports including AFL, basketball, soccer, netball, and outdoor recreation — plus a special netball workshop in partnership with the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL)!

It’s perfect for younger participants or those who just can’t get enough of sport and active play.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS:

To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, we require documentation for children with allergies, anaphylaxis, behavioral support needs, or those who require medication during the program (e.g., Ritalin, Ventolin). Please refer to our website for detailed instructions on how to submit this information.

GROUPS:

Children's groups are pre-allocated in advance and cannot be changed on the day of the program. Each child will be placed with their designated ‘buddy,’ chosen at the time of booking. Groups will consist of no more than 12 children.

If your child does not have a buddy attending the program, rest assured that they will be placed with other children of a similar age.

DAILY SCHEDULE:

Please find below a sample daily schedule to give you an idea of what to expect. Please note, this is a guideline and the exact timing or activities may vary. Additionally, the sports and activities offered at the program rotate and may change without prior notice due to factors such as weather, staff, or facility availability.

REFUNDS, CREDITS & CANCELLATIONS:

To protect our staff and other participants, please do not bring your child to the program if they are unwell or showing cold/flu symptoms.

Refunds or credits will not be issued for change of mind requests.
If your child is unable to attend due to illness, a credit will be issued for a future program of equal or lesser value upon receipt of a medical certificate.
If La Trobe Sport cancels the event due to extenuating circumstances, a full refund will be provided (excluding the Humanitix booking fee).
