Poor Millicent Lovely is the adopted daughter of Captain Willoughby Sternwheeler, captain of the Fading River Queen. She feels she can't consider the affections of first mate Stalwart Shoulder because she knows nothing of her past. The riverboat is boarded by Miss Rose Gone Astray and Beauregard Snidely, who have a plan to take control of the boat. But when Beauregard spies Millicent, he adds her to his wish list!
