Cushion embroidery workshop.
Join Jai Jaru for her cushion embroidery workshop.
Come and join CALD advocate Jai Jaru as she guides you in the beautiful art of cushion embroidery and decoration. In the workshop, you may choose a variety of colours, materials and objects to decorate your cushion and creatively express what home means to you .
To inspire you, the workshop also features the exhibition ‘What home means to me‘, hosted by Bonnie Support Services, by women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who have or are experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness in which they tell their stories of hope and the importance of having a safe place to rest their head while rebuilding their lives.
