Botanik Bush Kids - A Creative Nature Experience
Description
We're excited to introduce Botanik Bush Kids!
A Nature-Inspired Aromatherapy Workshop
Create. Explore. Imagine.
Looking for something a little different to do with the kids these school holidays?
Spark curiosity and creativity in this hands-on nature workshop.
Designed for curious young minds, Botanik Bush Kids encourages children to explore the beauty of nature through creativity, scent, and hands-on discovery.
A brand new 90-minute creative nature experience designed for children aged 8 years and over (ideally 9-12 years).
Hosted by Renee, Registered Teacher and Certified Aromatherapist, this hands-on workshop encourages children to slow down, get creative, and discover the beauty of West Australian botanicals.
During the workshop, they'll:
🌿 Create a child-friendly aromatherapy roller
🌸 Make their own Botanik Aroma Stone diffuser out of clay
🍃 Decorate with beautiful native botanicals
🐶 Meet Ziggy
🐴 Feed Ziddles a carrot (always a favourite!)
🏅 Take home a Junior Botanik Creator Certificate
Of course, there'll be plenty of complimentary refreshments to enjoy along the way too.
Workshops are running on both weeks of the school holidays:
Tuesday: 10.30am - 12pm
Tuesday: 1.30pm - 3pm
With small group numbers to ensure every child receives plenty of guidance and encouragement.
If you've been looking for a screen-free, creative experience that connects children with nature, we'd love to welcome you to Botanik Yallingup. Hopefully the first of many...

FAQs
- What do they need to bring?
Herbal and fruit teas and filtered rainwater will be provided.
Please BYO snacks for them to have if they need.
Any medication and medical information for me to know
Casual and warm clothing that can get a bit dirty. Closed in shoes are preferred but not necessary.
- My child is 8-9 or 12-13 can they still attend?
Yes.
However, the activities I have created are ideally for children aged 9-12 years old. If your child is only 8 and is capable of creative tasks, then that should be okay.
I do not recommend this for those who are younger than 8 or older than 13. But if they are super keen, please just message me. (I was certainly a young 13 year old who would love this!)
- Can parents or caregivers attend?
Yes of course. You're more than welcome to hang around or sit in the car to enjoy some time alone with a book.
We also have Commonage Coffee, Yallingup Choc just a minute away. Just be sure to leave your phone number as you drop off.
Seating will be limited and priority is given to the children who have paid to attend over the parents.
- What else to know?
We also live on the property. There is a large horse in the paddock and a large dog that roam around but are very gentle and used to children. There are dangers and children are not free to roam around the property. This will be explained at the start.
Please leave me with your mobile contact details.
If you have any questions please just ask me via email:
Thanks!
