Bush School at Lizard Log - Homeschool June-July 2025
Event description
Bush School is an outdoor program that gets children moving, creating, and thinking in a stimulating natural environment, giving them a chance to explore, discover, connect with nature and learn at their own pace.
The program is designed to inspire a love and respect for the natural world in children through outdoor exploration, bushcraft activities, and storytelling.
Led by experienced Educators, this wonderful program for children aged 5 to 12 years and their caregivers connects families with nature in Western Sydney Parklands' beautiful surroundings.

Thurs 19th June / Navigation and mapping – Learn how to use compasses and landmarks to find your way through nature, making your own maps along the way!
Thurs 26th June / Deep listening and music making – Tune in to the sounds of the bush! Discover nature’s rhythms, make instruments from found materials, and create wild music together.
Thurs 3rd July / Campfire cooking - Celebrate the end of term with a cosy campfire! Test your flint-and-steel skills, then gather round with your Bush School friends to cook damper and share campfire stories.
