Paint your way on to the Big Screen, Ages 6-10, $20

We are proud to collaborate with local filmmakers on Hurried Child, a meditation on modern parenthood—the vulnerability it demands, the mistakes we carry, and the slow, uncomfortable work of learning to truly listen and respond.   We invite your children aged 6–9 to help bring this vision to life and experience a Strength Heroes workshop. Your child will participate in an open art afternoon to paint "their favourite animal in their favourite place," creating a piece of art that will be used as a set piece within the film’s classroom.

Every young artist will receive a formal credit in the movie and an invitation for themselves and a parent to the exclusive Cast & Crew screening (PG), where their work will be displayed before they take it home. Children also have the unique opportunity to sign up as background extras on set, though please note that screen time is never guaranteed in the final cut. Join us for an afternoon that celebrates resilience and ensures our children’s creativity is truly seen and fostered.
