Welcome to ‘Coffee & Lyrics’ at the Hybrid Warehouse!! A show brought to you by Freo folk duo, Sea Swallow – also authors of the book “Freo Groove”.

Freo Groove presents ‘Coffee & Lyrics’ with feature artist: 

Rose Parker and guest poet, Patrick McCarthy.

What a super line up!

Rose Parker is an award-winning and much-loved Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist who has woven her magic through the Australian musical landscape for over two decades drawing from folk, alt-country, blues-rock and gospel.

Rose is the real thing. Freo Groove is delighted to bring her to the March 9 Coffee and Lyrics session as the feature singer songwriter.  It will be inspiring. That’s a sure bet!

The guest poet is Patrick McCarthy, who has attempted many times to simply give up and become a properly cynical, miserable writer, but he's just not cool enough. His irritatingly incorrigible optimism defies despair, and his poems about love, connection and laughing riotously at yourself will hopefully do just that.

A short set from local folkies, Sea Swallow, to set the scene, great coffee and top shelf music and verse through an excellent sound system. All in the unique, laidback surrounds of the Hybrid Warehouse.  Don’t miss it!

The event starts at 10.30am and cafe opens at 8.30am. SO, given the coffee machine is turned off during the gig so we can all enjoy the music, best to get there early to grab your coffee and snacks and the pick of the comfy couches!!

We will have a small release of early bird tickets for $10.

After that, it’s $15 online….$20 at the door.

Children under 14 are free.
