Community Connector Training
Event description
Community Connector Training
Provided by Proveda. Facilitated by Jessie Williams known for their work with the Groundswell Project.
The more people that know about the support that is available in the community, the more we can all support each other.
Community Connectors are hairdressers, taxi drivers, café staff, aged care workers, choir group members, business owners, librarians, neighbours, volunteers … anyone really!”
This is NOT a volunteer role, this is learning to sign post people especially those that are isolated or vulnerable.
We will be joined by the Palliative Navigator from the Palliative Care Connect team. Learn more about how to find information and resources that are available to support your community and the new directory of services available in South Australia.
