    Community Garden Planning 1pm

    Event description

After a successful Community Garden Hui earlier this month, we are now holding a more structured planning meeting looking to get ideas together for how to move forward with establishing a community garden on the land behind the Salvation Army Family store - across from the Devon.

If you would like to be involved in shaping the future of the garden we would love to have your input - you can also just come along to listen to others' ideas and see where things are going. We welcome experienced gardeners, those who have never gardened before but are keen to learn and anyone who would like to see their group or clients be involved etc.

All are welcome, but please get your free tickets so we know how many to expect.

The venue is the Ashburton Lakes Room in the new Ashburton Public Library.

We are holding the same event at 1pm and 6.30pm in hope that those keen will be able to make one of the times.

Getting tickets here is for the 1pm timeslot. If you want to come to 6.30 please click here

The session will be facilitated by Steph Poole from Community & Whānau Wellbeing, Health NZ who was the main speaker at the Community Garden Hui.
