Event description
Food grown using organic methods is healthier for you and for the environment. Learn the fundamental concepts and basic skills to grow your own organic vegetables at home. This workshop includes, what to consider when choosing a site, managing water, planting, fertilising naturally and mulching. We will also demonstrate the No-Dig gardening method.
This is a 3 hour workshop.
There is a lot to get through, so we start promptly at the time indicated.
PLEASE NOTE:
This workshop is designed for adult learners and is suitable for participants aged 12 and over. We kindly ask that younger children not attend, as they will not be permitted entry. Thank you for your understanding.
All attendees must present their valid ticket to participate in the workshop.
Children (12 years+) must have a ticket and be accompanied by an adult.

Regrettably, there are no other refunds available so please take this into consideration when purchasing this ticket.
The Home Sustainability Program is funded by Shoalhaven City Council and workshops are offered to residents in the Shoalhaven Local Government area only. At the end of the workshop, all attendees will be asked to complete a short, anonymous, online survey. This feedback will help us plan and manage the Home Sustainability program.
