Move For Them: Bendigo

Our upcoming community event brings people together to raise awareness of domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV) and to honour and remember the women whose lives have been lost to gender-based violence.

The event is pay-as-you-wish to secure your spot, ensuring accessibility for all community members.

Together, we will participate in a 1 or 3km run/walk, symbolising solidarity, resilience, and collective action. The day will also feature:

• Market and food stalls showcasing local businesses and community organisations.

• Free trauma-informed activities such as yoga, self defence and breathwork sessions to support healing and wellbeing.

• Community advocates and speakers sharing stories, knowledge, and messages of hope.

This event is more than a gathering — it is a movement of remembrance, awareness, and strength. By walking, running, and connecting, we stand united against gender-based violence and affirm our commitment to building safer futures.
