Move For Them: Canberra

Our upcoming community event brings people together to raise awareness of domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV) and to honour and remember the women whose lives have been lost to gender-based violence.

The event is pay-as-you-wish to secure your spot, ensuring accessibility for all community members.

Together, we will participate in a communal run/walk, symbolising solidarity, resilience, and collective action. The day will also feature:

• Free trauma-informed pilates class from Muse Pilates instructors to support healing and wellbeing.

• Local businesses such as Teddy's Matcha providing drinks and other goodies!

• Community advocates and speakers sharing stories, knowledge, and messages of hope.

This event is more than a gathering — it is a movement of remembrance, awareness, and strength. By walking, running, and connecting, we stand united against gender-based violence and affirm our commitment to building safer futures.
