Join us for a day of yoga and canoeing on the picturesque Anglesea River.

No previous experience in yoga or paddling is necessary. We will provide everything you need for an awesome day in the great outdoors, including lunch. We are more than happy to cater for all dietary requirements (please just let us know what you need).

We will meet you within the township of Anglesea, where the Great Ocean Road crosses the Anglesea River (cross the bridge and park in the first carpark on your left if you are travelling from Geelong).

We will start off with a yoga session to stretch our paddling muscles, before lunch. We’ll then board our vessels and paddle upstream to explore this majestic river system, which is home to an amazing number of birds, fish and turtles. Paddling time is around 2 hours. We’ll be on flat water, the entrance to the river is currently closed so there is no tidal influence. Comprehensive instructions on paddling technique will be provided before we head off and all equipment will be provided.

Please wear comfortable clothing that can get wet and you can move in, layered activewear is perfect. Pack a warm jacket and rainwear, just in case! Sneakers or sandals that can get wet or wetsuit booties are perfect footwear for paddling. Please also bring your bathers; if it’s hot we can swim while we are on the river. Also, a complete change of clothes is a good idea… Just in case!

Apart from that, all you need to bring with you is a water bottle and we are good to go!

The day is for women who are beginner paddlers. Even if you have never paddled before, this experience is for you! We will be with you every step of the way to make sure it is one to remember.

By the way, if the weather is horrendous, we will reschedule the day. If you can’t make the new date, we will give you a full refund.
