Our sports rely on good governance to thrive and offer the best experience for our members. The role of the Chair and their partnership with the CEO is vital for the success of your sport.

In partnership with Sport and Recreation Victoria and VicHealth, these sessions will provide:

Learnings about the role of the Chair in sport
Ways to create a winning Chair/CEO combination and
Updates on best practice in governance and your fiduciary responsibilities.

Facilitator - Rosie King

Rosie King's experiences across the sports industry ensure a solid understanding of the pathway for athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers, regardless of their level of ability, interest, passion or talent. Rosie is a former CEO within a State Sporting Organisation and a past Director of a National Sporting Organisation (Paralympics Australia). She was an Executive at Sport NZ and has successfully navigated the complexity of local, national and international sporting structures. These experiences in the sport ecosystem have been rounded off with several years at Executive level in professional sport at an AFL club – The Geelong Cats.
