CULTUREVATE: ZEIT & ZA'ATAR

ZEIT & ZA’ATAR will be the third of our five CULTUREVATE events.  

Meaning Olive Oil & Za'atar, two staple ingredients that play a significant role in the region's culinary heritage. Inspired by the traditional 'Asr' gatherings, when families, friends and neighbours gather in their gardens, houses on the street to share delicious pastries, tea and coffee while sharing stories and news. 

The event will showcase music, poetry, art, workshops, and delicious Middle Eastern cuisine.

• Performances: Cultural/dance acts, singing, cultural dress display
• Art exhibition: Showcasing the work of local Middle Eastern Artists
• Art stalls and markets
• Food stalls

Join us in celebrating culture, art, and cuisine at ZEIT & ZA’ATAR - an unforgettable evening of Middle Eastern talent and culture curated by young people.

Venue

The Fairfield School of Arts is located at 19 Harris Street, Fairfield NSW 2165.

The distance to Fairfield train station is 350 metres, a 5 minute walk.

There is parking in surrounding streets and in Downey Lane Car Park.
