Custom Apparel Workshop - Hats
Description
In celebration of Youth Week, Randwick City Council is running a workshop to help young people unleash their creativity and step into the world of fashion design. This hands‑on workshop invites young people to create their own custom hat, transforming everyday apparel into bold, personal statements.
The experience begins with an introduction to design inspiration and core fashion principles, helping attendees turn ideas into visual concepts. From there, participants dive into practical creation using materials such as fabric markers, patches and stencils.
By the end of the session, each participant will walk away with a fully customised hat that reflect their individuality. The workshop encourages creativity, confidence, and craftsmanship, making it perfect for all skill levels—from first‑time designers to seasoned creatives looking to refine their artistic voice.
Drinks & food will be provided

Local street artist Joe who founded SignsbyJoe in 2019, will lead the workshop to help give young people the chance to turn hats into their own personal design using stencils, free hand and other creative ways.
