We are delighted to invite you to our inaugural Conscious Dance Event at the Mind Body Spirit Hub in Geelong! Join us on Saturday, March 15th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, for an evening of movement, connection, and celebration.

This event is more than just a dance; it’s a chance to embrace new possibilities, ignite your inner light, and share an experience of community in this sacred space.

A heartfelt shout-out to Sherry Van T Hag, the renowned Psychic Medium, Motivational Speaker, and Author, whose vision brought the Mind Body Spirit Hub to life. With over 33 years of transforming lives globally, Sherry has created a sanctuary for growth and connection—a true gift to our community.

Let’s come together to celebrate this incredible journey and begin many more to come. Wear comfortable clothing, bring an open heart, and be ready to dance into a joyful new chapter!

What to Bring:

A water bottle
A blanket or shawl for comfort during still moments
A pillow or cushion for sitting comfortably during meditation and circle time
Comfortable clothing for ease of movement

Event Flow:

Arrival: Settle into silence and stillness as you enter the space.
Opening Circle: Connect as a group and set your intentions.
Grounding Meditation: Tune into your body and bring awareness to the present moment.
Dance Journey: Enjoy an hour of lightly facilitated movement through the elements, designed to support you in bringing full awareness and presence to your body. The facilitation gently encourages you to feel into your body and explore its innate wisdom through music and movement.
Closing Circle: Reflect, share if inspired, or rest in presence as we complete the ceremony.

Eight years ago, I moved from America to Australia to support my husband’s dream of spending meaningful time with his parents in their 90s. Before that, I spent 20 years as a beauty therapist, deeply immersed in the world of healing through touch and care. But when I arrived in Australia, I took an eight-year break from working outside the home, creating space to explore what truly lit me up inside. That journey of self-discovery eventually led me back to something that had been calling me for years—conscious dance.

Fifteen years ago, I found myself in a magical eco-village in Bali, stepping into a daytime free dance experience unlike anything I had ever known. My only experiences with dance had been in clubs or at parties, but this was something entirely different—an alcohol- and drug-free space, where no one spoke on the dance floor, and the facilitator gently guided us to be with ourselves, free from comparison or performance. It was pure liberation. I remember thinking, How incredible would it be to create experiences like this for others? That little seed, planted deep in my heart, took root and grew.

At the end of 2023, I took a leap and trained with Dancing Freedom, finally answering the call I had felt for so long. Then, on the Winter Solstice of 2024, I offered my very first dance ceremony to our community. Since then, I have been holding these sacred gatherings once a month—each one an act of courage, as I have always been terrified of speaking in front of a group. But my love for music, for creating safe and sacred spaces where people can feel, heal, and express their authentic selves, propels me forward.

Music has been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. My tastes have evolved over the years, but I am drawn to sounds that invoke presence, purification, remembrance, and celebration—music that expands the heart and honors the sacredness of life. Every set I create is a wave, a journey designed to guide people into deeper connection with themselves and their community. That deep connection brings me immense peace and fulfillment.

As 2025 unfolds, I look forward to new opportunities and growth, sharing my love of movement and music as medicine—a celebration of life, a pathway to devotion, togetherness, community, sacredness, and reconnection to self and each other.
