DIN Pilot Projects Sandpit Workshop
Event description
This event will showcase a series of problem pitches from Defence, each aligned with key Defence priority areas.
During the workshop, a research audience will critically engage with these challenges, refining and shaping them into the foundation for the upcoming call for proposals under the DIN Pilot Project funding program. Attendees will gain valuable insights into problems, connect directly with problem owners, and identify potential collaborators for their project proposals.

- Mobilising Architectural Techniques to Conceal and Camouflage Logistics Actions and Protect Physical Infrastructures
- Minimising the effects of INS-drift for UAS Swarm Navigation with Off-board Sensors
- Measurement of Cognitive Fitness in a Realistic Context

Who can attend
The event is open to academics from the DIN member universities, industry and defence representatives interested in participating in the DIN Pilot Projects. This event will be held online, and teleconferencing details will be provided to attendees after the registration closing date.
Registration closes at 12 PM, Friday, 28 February 2025.
