(KID FRIENDLY) Education by Kayak on the Pūharakekenui River - with the Styx Living Laboratory Trust & Johno Ridden (FREE)

Ōtautahi! Have you adventured in the Pūharakekenui Styx RIver, Christchurch's third largest river?
This kayak tour is an opportunity for you to learn first hand about the history, the environment and the restoration work in the Styx River catchment. This one is open to kids and families!
We will be joined by Johno Ridden, one of the SLLT Trustees, to talk about the museum's involvement and research in the Styx.

Logistics:
- We will be starting our safety briefing at 3.30pm, please arrive 5 minutes beforehand.
- Children over 12 are allowed in their own kayak, children under 9 are permitted as long as accompanied by an adult (will share a kayak).
- This event is pay-what-you-want to not be a financial barrier to anyone, we kindly ask for your ticket price to be whatever you wish to donate to the Trust.
