Embodied Dance Circle

Embodied Dance Circle is a guided conscious movement practice for women using meditation, guided movement, conscious dance, and relaxation in the sacred container of circle.

This circle is about connecting with your own energy and sensations, with guided movements that stretch and awaken your body and senses, before moving into conscious dance for you to explore movement following the unique rhythm of your own body. There is space to enjoy deep relaxation and opportunity to share in circle in the scared space of sisterhood.

You are welcome to express through your breath and movement in ways that you need. You may also vocalise to release and let go. Following your body, trusting your body and being with your body is the journey of this circle (while also being respectful of others in circle).

Embodied Dance Circle is about yourself - the practice is mostly done with eyes closed so you don't need to worry about how you look - and if it feels good, you know you are doing it 'right'!

Each week the music changes so each week feels unique. There is lots of different music and genres used throughout the term.

Benefits include deepening the relationship with your body, more awareness of your energy and internal compass, permission to be you, joy, healing, community and connection.

This is a women's only circle. All ages are welcome. Simply bring along your willingness and open mind!
