    Join us for a unique workshop designed to increase awareness of perimenopause and menopause, challenging stigmas and empowering women to support themselves through these important life phases.

                   Welcome to our transformative workshop focusing on western holistic nutrition, qigong, breath work and Traditional Chinese medicine tailored specifically for women navigating the transformative journey of menopause. 


            In this immersive experience, we will delve into the theory and practice behind managing perimenopause and menopause with grace and empowerment. 

            As we embark on this collective journey, it is important to recognise that perimenopause, which spans 7 to 10 years before menopause, is a crucial phase where our bodies undergo significant changes. Research highlights stress as a key factor during this transition, alongside the enormous pressures women face ‘to be everything to everyone’, without any time to pause, reflect  and focus on their own wellbeing. It is essential to support our bodies and minds in this very special phase of our lives. 

            Felicity,your nutritionist, and Adeline, your qigong instructor/shiatsu therapist are passionate about creating a nurturing and rejuvenating space where women can come together to learn, practice, and share. 

           Over 3 hours we will share breathwork and qigong knowledge and practices, coupled with valuable nutrition insights, leaving you equipped with practical tips and strategies tailored for women in mid-life. By exploring the wisdom of Eastern medicine, you will gain a deeper understanding of your body, its needs, and how to effectively manage the symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause. 

           Our aim is to empower you to embrace this stage of life with confidence and vitality. 

           This workshop is designed for women aged 40 and above who are navigating perimenopause, as well as those in their 50s who are experiencing menopause. 

    Throughout the session, you will be treated to nourishing homemade snacks and lunch, ensuring that your body is cared for inside and out!

    10 AM        Introduction and short meditation to help you bring yourself into the space and get the most out of the workshop

    10.10 AM   Understand the hormonal changes that women go through and discuss some of the common symptoms experienced.

    10.20 AM   Discussion of the current western medical treatment options and resources to support you through your second spring.

    10.30 AM   Felicity will take you through some simple supportive nutritional strategies you can implement.

    11.30 AM  After a quick break and some time for open discussion, Adeline will guide you through the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine

    and share some self-care tips that you can practice at home. Learn about acupressure, gua sha techniques,breathwork and rejuvenating qigong movements.

    12.15       Light lunch and open discussion about your expectations and experiences of your second spring.
