The landscape for estate planning is constantly changing across the professional disciplines that undertake this work.

For this year’s Xmas function, we warmly welcome one of our members Bill Patterson of Patterson Hopkins who will share his reflections, perspectives and thoughts on estate planning in New Zealand. Bill will be looking back, looking around and looking ahead to reflect on some of the key challenges, issues or trends that he sees advisers need to be thinking about for families, settlors, trustees, or beneficiaries.

This is a chance to hear Bill share some personal observations, learning and principles that have informed his work at the sharp end of estate planning in New Zealand. We hope to see as many members as possible to hear Bill and reflect on the year over drinks and nibbles.
