Men, Women and Students - Come and join us for our Monthly Experience of Connection, Breath and Movement. As we come together and connect, sit in circle, coming home to our roots, opening our hearts, connecting to the breath, dropping into stillness, cultivating deeper connection with ourselves, each other and having FUN!

Each month we explore a different topic which dictate's the experience you will have. We welcome in a guest facilitator to share a 40min explorative workshop with us. This is safe space of connection, networking, sharing innate wisdom.

Welcoming our Guest Facilitator - Bec Edwards

Whim Hoff Instructor, Oxygen Advantage Coach, Exercise Scientist

Bec has a passion for understanding and enhancing the human mind and body and loves to educate people on how to stay in balance. Her background in Exercise Science, Pilates and Myotherapy has now lead her onto a path of breath work methods.

Bec is a qualified Wim Hof instructor and oxygen advantage coach. She believes knowledge is power, and then applying the knowledge is strength.

Workshop details - 40min

This session is about getting functional! Function of the body and function of the breath. In this world of knowledge and fast paced growth, sometimes we forget the basics. Bec will take you through what your body has already learnt in your development years as a baby - toddler. It’s a lot harder to live a quality life when the body has years of tightness through sitting, or overuse of pushing it too hard. Your body has already learnt these natural mechanics. Babies are intuitive and know how to breathe, feel and develop. Let’s bring that child aspect back again the way it should have always being

Soulside Breathwork - An intuitively guided breath work weaving in breath awareness, mind-body connection, cyclical breath with holotropic breath principles followed by a guided meditation.

Event Organiser and Facilitator:

Sarhan is a Breathwork + Meditation Facilitator, Holistic Health Coach, Yoga Teacher, Bodyworker and Healer. She has worked in the Health and Fitness Industry for the past 8 years and has studied various tools and modalities in alternative and holistic practices. Throughout her own self love journey; having experienced Chronic Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Binge Eating and Sexual Trauma it was meditation and breathwork that was the catalyst for her in her healing. She is extremely passionate about sharing the message of Self Love by weaving together the different modalities she has studied and practiced over the last 10 years to create empowering experiences for all of her clients. By combining movement, breathwork and healing her unique style of facilitation and mentoring allows anyone who works with her to experience a safe and supported environment to start to cultivate a deeper connection of trust within their own bodies, create an environment for healing to take place and return to love. To ultimately live and lead in alignment with their highest form of expression, open their hearts to love and achieve desired states of self love, optimal health and happiness.

Health Conditions for the Guided Breathwork Journey:

Contra-Indications of Breathwork Please read the next section VERY thoroughly.

Breathwork is an incredibly powerful modality that creates both physiological and energetic shifts, RAPIDLY. Therefore, for safety purposes, I do not allow persons with the following conditions to participate without customising their experience.

If you have any of the following contraindications, please let Sarhan know.

Physical Contraindications

●Cardiovascular issues

●Glaucoma

●High blood pressure

●Epilepsy

●Detached Retina

●History of strokes or seizures

●Aneurysm or family history of aneurysm. (Burst blood vessels in the brain).

●Blood thinning medication

●Pregnancy or possible pregnancy

●Asthma Mental Contraindications

●Substance dependence & addiction (Deep breathwork journeys are not always appropriate for those who are still addicted to a substance, as it tends to raise suppressed or repressed material for processing. However, if you’re currently in recovery, this can be extremely healing, and help you discover the deeper patterns that gave rise to this addiction. (Grof, 1985: 267 – 268).

●Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or psychosis

●Hospitalisation for emotional crises in the last 10 years (Participant must get therapist’s approval to participate before you register).

●Psychological conditions and diagnoses, which preclude safe emotional release.

If you’re unsure about health conditions, please consult and gain permission from your doctor before progressing with participating in the Breathwork Journey.

Please know that Sarhan can adjust the breathwork for you to still attend and experience the monthly circle :)
