This course provides an understanding in the fundamentals of traffic signal plans and operational design and includes:

• Traffic signal plans
• Introduction to Operation sheets
• Introduction to SCATS data
• PROM changes, experience sharing

Course outline

Learn how to understand:

• the different components of a traffic signal plan
  
• how to interpret traffic signal layouts and the fundamentals associated with their preparation
  
• the key components of an operation design (Opsheet) for the preparation of a PROM
• the SCATS data that is available and how it can be used for your project.
