FDV First Aid is practical recognise-and-respond training that builds the knowledge, skills and confidence to safely support someone experiencing Family and Domestic Violence (FDV)

Too often, people want to help, but fear saying the wrong thing, making the situation worse, or not knowing where to turn. FDV First Aid bridges the gap between concern and action by equipping participants with clear skills to respond in ways that prioritise safety, dignity and choice.

Who should attend?

FDV First Aid is designed specifically for everyday community members who wants to build confidence in supporting someone affected by FDV. No prior experience required.

Also suitable for workplaces, managers, HR staff, volunteers, community groups and workers who assist people and want to better recognise when FDV may also be a factor.

If you're seeking training for FDV specialist services, crisis workers, case managers or any frontline professionals please enquire at training@zontahouse.org.au
