The Canterbury Grazing Group are hosting a discussion day at George Lucas' farm in the Greta Valley.

Topics of discussion for the day will include:

Trading stock system (cattle & sheep
Total grazing system (Jim Elizondo) and all-pasture wintering
Trees/Silvopasture

George runs a trading stock enterprise, under a holistic approach, and mimics the grazing practices of Jim Elizondo. One of the grazing goals is to have all-pasture wintering.

George also has multiple projects on the go, one of which is setting up a silvopasture system, which could go into the ETS for future income. This will be an insightful day.
