Drop Into Nature - Forest Therapy and Nature Journaling
Event description
Join INFTA-certified Forest Therapy Guide, Cerae Mitchell, for a unique 3-hour Forest Therapy and Nature Journaling experience - an opportunity to slow down, tune into your senses, and cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world.
What to Expect
This gentle, slow-paced walk invites you to:
🌿 Engage in guided activities that foster relaxation and mindfulness.
🌿 Explore nature journaling - a simple yet powerful way to deepen your awareness of nature through creative expression.
No prior journaling or art experience is necessary - this is about observation, curiosity, and connection rather than creating "perfect" drawings or writing.
What is Forest Therapy?
Originating in Japan as Shinrin-yoku or "forest bathing," Forest Therapy is a research-backed practice that supports mental and physical well-being through immersive nature experiences. Studies have shown it can help:
🌿 Reduce stress and anxiety
🌿 Improve mood and mental clarity
🌿 Boost immunity and overall well-being
🌿 Enhance focus, creativity, and connection
