Guitar Summit 2023

Returning once again in 2023, the Marist College Ashgrove Guitar Summit will provide an opportunity for all of the College’s Guitar Ensembles to experience a combination of workshops and sectionals under guidance by a guest director Dr Anthony Garcia, concluding with an evening concert.

Dr Anthony Garcia and Marist College Ashgrove Old Boy, is an acclaimed guitarist, composer and educator based in Brisbane. Born in the United States and raised and educated in South East Asia, Australia and Mexico, Garcia has recorded, performed, and collaborated extensively throughout the world with creatives across a diverse range of artistic disciplines.
