Description

The Invisible Load: What We All Feel, But No One Sees

In conjunction with Tend for Women’s Health Week 2026

Seen. Shared. Rebalanced.

Many women carry far more than what others see.

The meetings, the deadlines, the family logistics, the mental checklists, the emotional labour, the health concerns, the caregiving, the expectations, and the constant pressure of trying to hold everything together.

Often while making it look effortless.

Over time, this invisible load can impact our wellbeing, sleep, energy, confidence, relationships, leadership, and sense of self.

Yet it remains one of the least visible conversations women are having.

HERiZON: The Invisible Load is a half-day experience designed to create space for women to pause, reflect, connect, and explore practical ways to navigate the pressures many of us carry behind the scenes.

This is not surface-level networking or conversations that stop at inspiration.

It is a morning of honest kōrero, female-focused research, expert insight, practical tools, and meaningful connection.

Because sometimes the things we carry the most are the things nobody sees.

The Flow of the Day

1. Welcome to HERiZON

We’ll begin by setting the scene for the morning and exploring why the Invisible Load has become such an important conversation for women today.

2. Female-Focused Research

Kirsten Taylor, Founder of SleepDrops, will share insights from female-focused sleep and menopause research, exploring the connection between health, stress, hormones, recovery, and the invisible pressures many women carry.

3. Panel Conversation

An honest and practical panel discussion bringing together perspectives from women’s health, wellbeing, leadership, business, and lived experience.

Together we’ll explore topics such as:

  • Mental and emotional load

  • Sleep, hormones, and wellbeing

  • Identity and life transitions

  • Leadership and performance pressure

  • Alcohol, health, and lifestyle choices

  • Building sustainable success without burnout

4. Morning Tea + Connection - Space to connect with other women, continue conversations, and build meaningful relationships.

5. The HERiZON Workshop

This is where we move from awareness into action.

Through guided reflection and practical workbook exercises, you’ll identify the loads you are carrying, explore what is supporting you, and create practical next steps that feel realistic for your life.
