Animal Fun: Improving Children's Motor and Social Skills in 2022

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Calling all early childhood educators and parents of young children aged 3-6 years.Come along to this fun, interactive workshop to learn about the Animal Fun program designed by physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists from Curtin University.

The Animal Fun program helps children to become more confident in their motor skills and social skills within an imaginary play space. Evidence based and meeting EYLF, NQS and the Australian Curriculum for HPE (Foundation), Animal Fun ticks all the boxes.

Research shows that children also improve attentiveness and behaviour when they have well developed motor and social skills. It's a simple and easy-to-follow program that you will feel confident to implement at the completion of this workshop.

Help the children you will be working with in 2022 to kick start the year feeling strong and positive about themselves. Some time spent nurturing motor development in the early part of the year will reap benefits down the track.

Don't take my word for it...here is what others have to say.

"Absolutely, hands down, the only motor program I recommend for the early years. Easy to implement as well as evidence based. Programs such as Animal Fun are vital to future academic success, physical health and mental wellbeing".

Berry Johnston, Occupational Therapist, Lil Peeps OT For Kids.

Animal Fun has certainly lived up to its very high expectations! Our Professional Learning experience with Sue was engaging, practical and as fun for the adults as it is for the children. Not only is Animal Fun evidence based, it is easy to use and embed into classroom routines. I would highly recommend Animal Fun to schools looking to support (or extend!) their youngest students perceptual motor skills."

Ally Carlton-Moyle , Kindergarten Teacher and Early Years Co-ordinator, Perth College.

A fantastic door prize is also on offer, plus the chance to purchase resources at heavily discounted prices.

Get your team together and make a commitment to improving children's physical and mental health.

I hope to see you there.
