Vithyaa Thavapalan (graduate of Masters of Science, Forensic Science, UTS) is a Fire Investigator, Entrepreneur & Community Leader

Vithyaa is a powerhouse in the world of fire and explosion investigations, leading her own company, What The Fire – Forensic Origin & Cause Investigations, which specialises in uncovering the science behind how fires start. With over a decade of experience in the field, she brings deep technical expertise and a fierce commitment to truth and safety.

Outside the fireground, she’s also the founder of Brown Boss Babes, a thriving platform uplifting South Asian women in leadership, entrepreneurship, and financial independence. Whether she’s piecing together evidence from a fire scene or mentoring future leaders, Vithyaa is driven by purpose, resilience, and a passion for creating change.
