Strategically located near parkland and residences, the iconic structure emerged in 1929, revolutionising waste disposal was designed by the offices of visionary architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin. Join us as our knowledgeable guide unveils the 'Destructor's' transformative journey, from waste disposal facility to council depot, to a performing arts venue and now Incinerator Gallery.
