Intro to Painting- Mark Making and Gesture

Join us on the second Wednesday of every month for a three-hour intensive session that takes you step by step though the basics of painting. We’ll master the basics of painting while drawing inspiration from the work of influential contemporary artists.

This workshop is designed for everyone, so no prior skill or experience is required. With all materials included, explore painting in a thorough, hands-on environment and elevate your practice one month at a time.

In this class you will play with the way you make marks on the canvas. We’ll take you step by step through creating a painting, introducing different ways to loosen up, experiment and explore your creativity.
