Introduction to Carbon Farming (Millicent)

We all know that farmers are being put under increased pressure to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Some of you may be feeling this through your supply chains. So, if you are wondering where to start and how to decrease the emissions on your farm, come along to one of these introductory workshops from the Limestone Coast Landscape Board in South Australia. During the workshops we will look over the fence at some carbon farming pilot trials. We will delve into the carbon calculators and run you though how to calculate the carbon emissions from your farm. We will go through the co-benefits of carbon farming for on farm productivity and how this can result in cost savings and other opportunities for your farming enterprise.
