Workshop description: 

Learn about Aussie Native Plants and Bushfoods specific to our local area, and try some out with a live cooking demonstration.

Down's Community Farm is pleased to host this workshop with Kylie from Your Green Prescription to showcase local native plants and foods after the sold out session in 2023.

This workshop has limited numbers and will fill up fast, book your spot ASAP so you don't miss out.  The workshop is subsidised by a Frankston Council grant however we need your contribution to cover  our costs.  A very reasonable $10 full price or $5 if you are a concession card holder.  Please get in touch if price is a barrier for you.  Sorry, but we're not able to offer refunds.

Workshop facilitator: 

Kylie, a Darug/Wiradjuri First Nations person working in Naarm(Melbourne) and living on Bunurong Lands (Boon Wurrung language group) on the Mornington Peninsula. Find Kylie and more about her other workshop offerings on Facebook.

Accessibility: 

Down’s Community Farm has an onsite accessible car park and toilet. The workshop will be held outdoors undercover, so please dress appropriately for the weather and bring along your water bottle.
