    Event description

Are you looking to align your organisation with a social or environmental purpose? Or, do you want to get your head around shifting business trends and find a strategy to stay ahead of the curve?

Companies today are being urged to consider purpose beyond profit. Shared value has been adopted by leading global businesses as a critical business strategy to achieve socio-economic sustainability and long-term success.

Facilitated by the Shared Value Project and Q Social Impact, this workshop is designed to help you understand the concept of shared value as a business framework. You will walk away from the workshop with a better understanding of shared value and its impact on business, a knowledge of global best practice through select case studies and a set of tools for practical implementation.

While the focus of the workshop is on shared value theory and practice, participants will also explore the relationship between shared value as a business strategy and other forms of corporate participation in societal issues through practices such as corporate philanthropy and corporate social responsibility.

Whether you are working in the corporate, government, or not-for-profit sector, this workshop will help you fully understand the concept of shared value as a framework to tackle society’s problems in a profitable, sustainable, and scalable way.
