Indie-folk songstress, Isabel Rumble, is captivating audiences worldwide with her intimate songwriting and a voice that speaks directly to the heart.
Raised by the riverside on a walnut farm, Isabel's music grew from the rich folk music community of the Far South Coast of NSW. It has taken her to significant stages like Port Fairy Folk Festival, as well as across the globe, including house concerts in India and shows atop Austrian Alps.
Isabel's 2023 Folk Alliance Australia nominated debut album, Bird Be Brave, led to extensive tours in Australia and overseas. Following her debuts in Europe and the UK in 2024 and early 2025, Isabel returned home to finish her second album Hold Everything Lightly, recorded at the renowned Four Winds, Barragga Bay, NSW. Produced by Heath Cullen, it is launched in October and followed by a nation wide tour.
Isabel returns to Tarndanya/Adelaide for a special intimate duo concert supported by Ryan Martin John.
“With a voice like honey and a capacity to hit notes with such care and clarity, as if Billie Eilish, Laura Marling and Katie Noonan morphed into a single voice. Simply gorgeous.” - Kath Devaney, ABC Country Music Director
“Her delicate and beautiful vocals and her clear talent as a songwriter are an indication she has much to offer the contemporary folk genre.” - review of UK debut headline
Ryan Martin John
Ryan Martin John’s brand of country/folk singer songwriting harkens back to a much loved era of late 60’s/ early 70’s Laurel Canyon singer-songwriters.
Based on Kaurna land, Ryan is also an acclaimed record producer & engineer. RMJ’s self recorded & produced 2023 debut record ‘Goodness, Gracious, Graceless’ was a visit to crunchy country folk ALA The Byrds/ Jackson Browne. The album saw national acclaim with nominations for National Folk Alliance Australia’s Folk Artist of The Year as well as nominations for the Adelaide Blues and Roots Album of the year award and shortlisted for Music SA’s solo Artist of the Year award.
Ryan’s sophomore record is shaping up to be much more minimal and acoustic ALA artists like Gillian Welch and the Milk Carton Kids, and will be debuting many of these tunes up close and personal along with acclaimed guitarist and all around good guy, Tom Kneebone.
